Successful business owners can eventually become the biggest constraint in their own companies.
In this session, Jonathan Cocklin will explore the difference between working in your business and working on it. You’ll learn how to identify the responsibilities, decisions, and information unnecessarily flowing through you, and what it takes to distribute genuine ownership across your team.
The session will cover delegation, decision rights, accountability, and building a second layer of leadership. You’ll also examine your business through the 30-day owner-dependency test:
Could your business continue operating if you disappeared for 30 days?
You’ll leave with a simple action plan to begin removing yourself from one critical area of your business.
